WELCOME!

Here’s a six minute video visit to my art studio in Red Hook in Brooklyn, New York. In the video, I talk about some recent oil paintings that are part of an ongoing series that I am completing:

This video is by the up-and-coming amazing filmmaker Shamell Mason.

I’ll be welcoming the public to my art studio October 15–16, 2022 for Arts Gowanus Open Art Studios, but plan to share different artwork than that shown in this video for that event, so I really hope you can stop by! I will be in the beginning phases of developing artwork inspired by being one of 20 observers on site at NASA’s DART Mission spacecraft-asteroid collision, and can’t wait to chat with visitors about this historically significant milestone in human achievement and planetary defense.

Feel free to bring your love of all things outer space, human adventure and achievement, planetary defense, science & sci-fi to share at my art studio! (Outer space costumes are welcome.)

Arts Gowanus Open Studios runs from October 15–16, 2022, from 12 to 6 pm. The event is free and open to the public. For information on visiting Elizabeth Meggs’ studio and hundreds of other art studios, please visit the Arts Gowanus Open Studios 2022 Directory and Live Map.
